CHUCKLES----

When NASA started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 c.

The Russians used a pencil.

True or false question:
Is the world spinning out of control?

The answer is false. The creator is still in control. “The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.” Psalms 24:1

Faith in God gives us an anchor in shaky times. Faith in God gives us balance, hope and courage. We are not out of control, but safe in His hands, if we have committed our life to Jesus. Every story says, “and it came to pass”. Change is predictable. Whatever happens, Jesus said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you….. The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.” Hebrews 13:5,6

A quote from Jack Hayford’s Spirit Filled Bible says, “ Fears are overcome by a contentment founded on the assurance of God’s constant presence and the promise He will supply our daily needs.” God loves you, and He is FOR you,

So Keep smiling.

Welcome to my new blog!

I'd love to share a little of my life with you; the music I love to sing, some of my paintings, and a little of what I've learned over the years.

I just recently ran across this:

"And I saw a world superpower develop in a new country made up of people from many nationalities. This superpower influenced other powerful nations throughout the world. Although it did not try to politically rule other countries, it held a position of leadership in every area of world affairs; the other countries were allowed to govern themselves. This country used the name of God freely and irreverently in many of its worldly activities."

As translated by Bob Fraley, this is what Revelations 13:1 would look like if it had been written in contemporary American English. It sounds to me like John the Apostle was referring to the United States ~ thousands of years before it ever existed. What do you think?

Thank you again for dropping by for a visit.
Please come back soon!
